New York Rangers prepare for training camp after offseason retool

The New York Rangers are entering training camp following a period of significant roster restructuring aimed at improving after a last-place finish in the Eastern Conference. The team has transitioned from a potential rebuild to a retooling strategy, acquiring several new players to bolster their lineup.

Forward Pavel Dorofeyev, acquired from the Vegas Golden Knights in exchange for draft picks, expressed confidence in his ability to integrate with the team. Dorofeyev noted that he intends to maintain his current playing style and highlighted the opportunity to play alongside teammates such as Igor Shesterkin and Vladislav Gavrikov.

Additionally, there is high expectation for defenseman Adam Fox to return to elite form. After missing significant time due to injuries last season, Fox has been identified as a potential contender for the Norris Trophy, provided he remains healthy and maintains the high level of play seen during his previous award-winning season.
