New York State Police search for missing teenager in Dutchess County

New York State Police are conducting an active investigation in the Town of LaGrange, Dutchess County, to locate 17-year-old Matthew Haass.

Haass is described as being approximately 5-foot-2 to 5-foot-3 tall and weighing around 125 pounds. He was last seen wearing black shorts and black socks. While authorities have not disclosed the specific reason for the search, they stated there is no immediate threat to the general public. Residents in the LaGrange area may notice an increased police presence as the search continues.
