New York Times daily puzzle answers released June 26, 2026
On June 26 2026 the New York Times published solutions for several of its daily online puzzles. The Connections game (puzzle #1111) was solved with four groups: a crunchy‑snack set – CHIP, CRACKER, NUT, PRETZEL; a wood set – BOARD, LOG, SPLINTER, TREE; a low‑ground set – DALE, DELL, GORGE, HOLLOW; and a “colors plus a letter” set – BRONZER, PINKY, REDO, TANG. The Wordle game (puzzle #1833) yielded the answer “ACUTE”, a five‑letter word containing three vowels, no repeated letters, and meaning a sharp angle.
