New York Times daily puzzle answers released June 26, 2026

On June 26 2026 the New York Times published solutions for several of its daily online puzzles. The Connections game (puzzle #1111) was solved with four groups: a crunchy‑snack set – CHIP, CRACKER, NUT, PRETZEL; a wood set – BOARD, LOG, SPLINTER, TREE; a low‑ground set – DALE, DELL, GORGE, HOLLOW; and a “colors plus a letter” set – BRONZER, PINKY, REDO, TANG. The Wordle game (puzzle #1833) yielded the answer “ACUTE”, a five‑letter word containing three vowels, no repeated letters, and meaning a sharp angle. Quordle’s June 26 edition produced multiple word sets, notably the answers SLATE, CRANE, BULLY and AGILE in the standard mode, and SPRAY, BRAKES, SNARE, THICK in the Chill mode. Together these releases illustrate the daily rollout of NYT’s suite of word‑based games and the community’s interest in the answers.
