The second correction concerns a statement regarding how Israelis perceive the October 7 attacks. The Times noted that an earlier version of an article inadvertently suggested that the experience of Israelis as terror victims was a matter of perception, rather than conveying the intended meaning regarding the government's military response. The publication has since removed the problematic line.
