New York Yankees reinstate Ryan McMahon from injured list

The New York Yankees have reinstated third baseman Ryan McMahon from the 10-day injured list following a left thumb sprain. McMahon, who has appeared in over 100 games this season, is returning to the lineup as Major League Baseball rosters expand to 28 players for the month of September.
