The New Zealand Black Ferns secured a dominant 66-14 victory over Scotland in the WXV Global Series at Hive Stadium in Edinburgh. The world number two ranked team scored ten tries, including efforts from Mo’omo’oga Palu, Maama Mo’onia Vaipulu, Evie Gallagher, Justine McGregor, Elinor-Plum King, Layla Sae, Amy Du Plessis, Amarante Sititi, Tara Turner, and Alena Saili.

Despite the large margin, Black Ferns deputy captain Georgia Ponsonby noted that the team has not yet fully clicked. Ponsonby emphasized the need to improve ball security, decision-making, and ruck stability ahead of their upcoming match against England's Red Roses. While praising the Scottish team's heart and effort, Ponsonby indicated that the scoreline did not fully reflect the intensity of the battle on the field.
