New Zealand enters title race at Team Racing World Championship

The Team Racing World Championship in Stockholm remains highly competitive after two days of racing. While two United States teams initially dominated the leaderboard, New Zealand has entered the title race following six consecutive victories, which included wins over both American teams.

In addition to the New Zealand surge, Australia secured its first victory of the championship, and Japan recorded its first win of the event. A total of 97 races were completed across Thursday and Friday, with 35 races remaining in Round Robin 2.

Alex Curtiss, skipper of USA 1, noted the high level of competition and the speed of the races following their first loss to the New Zealand squad. The competition is scheduled to resume with Race 73 on Saturday morning.
