New Zealand Fashion Week celebrates with City Rail Link campaign

New Zealand Fashion Week is currently underway, featuring a collaborative campaign between Auckland Transport and Thompson Spencer titled ‘Auckland in Style. Tāmaki Makaurau in Motion’. The campaign utilizes the opening of the City Rail Link (CRL) to showcase Auckland’s new train stations, such as Te Waihorotiu and Waitematā, as fashion runways. Through short films, the initiative aims to rebrand public transport as a stylish and convenient way to navigate the city during major events.

On the runway, the event's second day included a performance by Caitlin Crisp, which featured Royal New Zealand Ballet principal dancers. The show incorporated ruffles, pink florals, and tutus. Additionally, the brand Twenty Seven Names celebrated its 20th anniversary with a nostalgic, preppy-themed collection featuring signature florals and unique accessories.
