New Zealand PM Luxon faces caucus scrutiny ahead of leadership vote

National MPs arrived in Wellington ahead of a caucus dressing-down for Prime Minister Christopher Luxon. Luxon said he was reacting to a Herald report published on Friday.

Luxon survived a party leadership vote months before the election. He blamed reports of unrest within his party on media outlets, while a poll released days earlier had made discussions about leadership unavoidable.
