New Zealand to host Race of Champions in 2027

New Zealand will host the Race of Champions (ROC) for the first time in January 2027. The international stadium racing event is scheduled to take place at Hnry Stadium in Wellington on January 9-10.

Organizers have confirmed the first four participants for the event. New Zealand will be represented by World Rally Championship driver Hayden Paddon, while Australia will be represented by Supercars champion Chaz Mostert. International competitors include Finland’s Valtteri Bottas and Germany’s Sebastian Vettel.

The lineup is expected to feature stars from various disciplines, including Formula 1, IndyCar, NASCAR, and Supercars.
