New2Knox celebrates 10 years of community building in Knoxville

New2Knox, a community organization focused on connecting young professionals in Knoxville, is celebrating its 10th anniversary. To mark the milestone, the group is hosting a Knoxville Friendship Fair on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Bearden Beer Market.

Founded by Emilie Stooksbury, Emily Stevens, and Bailey Hunter, the initiative began as a social project to help adults build connections and navigate life in Knoxville. The organization has grown into a significant community presence with over 65,700 Instagram followers, serving as a tool for local talent retention by helping young professionals integrate into the city.
