Newburgh Brewing Company investigates mysterious security camera footage

Newburgh Brewing Company in upstate New York has released security camera footage showing mysterious activity in its kitchen, including flickering lights, a white shape resembling a face, and items like knives and trays appearing to vanish. Owner Paul Halayko reported that the motion-activated cameras captured these occurrences while the restaurant was empty.

In response to the footage, local historians investigated the history of the building, which has housed various industrial businesses since the 1850s. Historian Salvatore LaBruna identified a potential connection to a historical figure, Hugh Elwood, who reportedly died on the grounds while working at Washington Iron Works on January 18, 1867. While the city historian noted that industrial accidents were common in the building's past, no official record of a fatal accident at this specific site was immediately found.
