Newburgh Open Studios offers walkable tour of 100+ artists

Newburgh Open Studios is entering its 16th year, offering a walkable tour of the Hudson Valley that allows visitors to access the private studios of over 100 artists. The event was established in 2010 by Michael Gabor and Gerardo Castro, founders of Newburgh Art Supply, following the model of the Beacon Open Studios.

What began as a small initiative with 11 artists has grown into a significant community event that draws visitors from surrounding towns to explore the city's architecture and vibrant arts scene. Many participating studios are located in the downtown area, facilitating a pedestrian-friendly experience through various neighborhoods.
