Newcastle United poised to sign Algerian winger Anis Hadj Moussa from Feyenoord
Newcastle United are expected to complete the transfer of 24‑year‑old Algerian winger Anis Hadj Moussa from Dutch club Feyenoord within a few days. The club’s new manager Matthias Jaissle, appointed after Eddie Howe’s resignation, has identified Moussa as a priority signing.
Feyenoord are seeking a fee of €35‑40 million, with director Dévy Rigaux confirming the need to sell before further squad reinforcement. The deal follows Newcastle’s recent high‑value departures, including Anthony Gordon to Barcelona for about €80 million and Sandro Tonali to Tottenham for €115 million. Both Newcastle and Saudi‑backed Al Ahli share investment links, which previously connected Jaissle to the Saudi club.
