The K-pop group NewJeans has reached a new streaming milestone with their track ‘Zero’, which surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify as of October 27. Released in April 2023 through Coca-Cola’s Coke Studio, the song is the group’s 17th track to cross the 100 million mark on the platform.
Despite being a brand collaboration rather than a track from an official studio album, ‘Zero’ has contributed to the group’s total Spotify streams, which have exceeded 8.2 billion. The track features a blend of pop, R&B, and Jersey club rhythms.
In related news, former member Danielle released a self-composed song titled ‘Stay’ on her YouTube channel on October 29. The group’s status remains in transition following contract disputes with ADOR, with members Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni confirmed to return, while Minji remains in negotiations and Danielle has departed the group.
