Newport Beach Fest NFL legends beach football Fort Adams Labor Day

The inaugural Newport Beach Fest will take place over Labor Day weekend, September 5‑6, at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island. The two‑day waterfront event features professional beach football matches, with the Beach Football League’s new New England franchises – the Boston Generals and the Newport Admirals – playing their first games.

Organized by former NFL player and BFL commissioner Tully Banta‑Cain, the festival will also host appearances by NFL legends, fan experiences, open tryouts, a youth football camp, live entertainment, local food vendors, waterfront beer gardens and military‑style obstacle courses. More than 1,000 tons of sand will be brought in to transform the historic venue into a beach‑side arena.
