Newport residents raise concerns over new Vantage Data Center Campus

The construction of the Vantage Data Center Campus in Newport, South Wales, has sparked concerns among local residents regarding its impact on the community. Once complete, the site will span 46 acres and house three data centers.

Local residents have expressed worries regarding increased noise, heavy traffic, visual impact, and potential effects on property values. As the demand for processing power grows due to artificial intelligence, the number of data centers across the UK is rising.
