Nexans raises 2026 guidance following strong first-half growth

Nexans, a global leader in cable systems for energy transition, reported strong financial results for the first half of 2026. The company achieved 4.5% organic growth in its electrification activities, driven by demand in high-value sectors such as data centers, energy infrastructure, and grid modernization.

The group's adjusted EBITDA rose 4.3% year-on-year to 387.7 million euros, with an adjusted EBITDA margin of 11.9% on standard sales. Specifically, the electrification segment saw adjusted EBITDA increase by 5.2%, reaching a margin of 13.2%.

Due to the strong first-half performance and improved visibility for the remainder of the year, Nexans has upwardly revised its full-year 2026 guidance. The company now expects EBITDA to fall within the range of 770–840 million euros, up from the previous forecast of 730–810 million euros. Cash flow expectations have also been raised to a range of 235–325 million euros, compared to the earlier estimate of 210–310 million euros.
