Nexion inaugurates new 25 million euro logistics center in Correggio

Nexion has inaugurated a new logistics distribution center in the Prato district of Correggio. The project represents an investment of over 25 million euros by the group, which was formerly known as Corghi Elettromeccanica.

The new facility covers 22,000 square meters and utilizes renewable energy sources to operate. According to General Manager Michele Bergamini, the facility incorporates automation and digitalization to increase flexibility and customer service quality. This expansion has led to the hiring of approximately 15 new employees.

Vincenzo Colla, the regional vice president, praised the development, noting that logistics is a vital component for business competitiveness and emphasizing the need for green, localized warehousing to mitigate global supply chain volatility.
