Nexon Games to debut 'Pareidolia' at AGF 2026

Nexon Games will showcase its upcoming subculture title, ‘Pareidolia’, at the Anime X Game Festival (AGF) 2026. This event marks the first time a Korean-language playable version of the game will be available to domestic users, following previous appearances at Anime Expo in the United States and Tokyo Game Show.

Developed by RX Studio—the same team behind ‘Blue Archive’—the game is being built for PC, console, and mobile platforms using Unreal Engine 5. It features a ‘live turn-based battle’ system and is set in the otherworldly city of Animas, where players act as a revitalization center director.

The exhibition booth will recreate the ‘Tasogare-kan’, a key location in the game where players build relationships with characters known as ‘Mates’. To emphasize character interaction, the booth will include voice-recognition technology, allowing visitors to speak directly to the characters or engage in activities like voice-commanded rock-paper-scissors.
