Nexon launches Sudden Attack Zero Point on Steam Early Access

Nexon released the free‑to‑play first‑person shooter Sudden Attack Zero Point on PC via Steam’s Early Access programme. The remastered tactical FPS, originally a South Korean hit from 2005, opened to players with a Daily Login Event running from July 30 to August 12, rewarding daily logins with key cards for in‑game crates. The launch includes 13 primary weapons, four secondary weapons, over 200 customization parts, seven maps, and a new practice mode, alongside a Black Market for item trading.

In an interview, game director Kim Tae‑hyun explained the goal of preserving the classic “old feeling” for longtime fans while updating graphics and adding a robust gun‑customisation system for newcomers. He said the biggest challenge was balancing the original map layouts and gameplay rhythm with modern FPS expectations, aiming to make the title appealing worldwide.

The early‑access rollout marks the first time Sudden Attack is fully open on Steam, with Nexon promising ongoing community engagement and further seasonal updates throughout 2026.
