Nexon releases Season 4 update for The First Descendant

Nexon has released the Season 4 Episode 1 update, titled ‘The Great Clash’, for its looter shooter, The First Descendant. The update marks a major narrative milestone as players face a final confrontation with the antagonist, Karel, during an invasion of the Albion base.

Key content additions include the ‘Karel’s Mothership’ Mega Dungeon, which features a three-phase boss battle with evolving environments and attack patterns. A limited-time ‘Conquest’ difficulty level for this dungeon will run from September 3 to October 15, offering exclusive rewards such as skins for the ‘Malicious Dominator’ Transcendent weapon.

The update also introduces a new playable Descendant named Raven. A former guild leader from Albion, Raven is a firearm-based character who utilizes shotguns, mobility skills, and shields rather than MP. Additionally, the update brings a roguelite-inspired Trials mode and new Transcendent Weapons to the game.
