Nexon updates MapleStory M with new Karing boss

Nexon has released a major update for its mobile MMORPG, MapleStory M, introducing a new boss named ‘Karing’ set in the Dowongyeong region. The boss is available in both normal and hard difficulties for characters level 280 and above. Defeating Karing provides rewards including the ‘Imitated Knot of God’ necklace, ‘Transfer Scrolls’, ‘Instruments of Death’, and ‘Karing’s Soul Fragments’.

The update also expands the original ‘Stella Code’ skill system by adding the second skill, ‘Constella Core’, which provides invincibility buffs and passive projectile attack effects.

To support player growth, Nexon is running several in-game events. An ‘Additional Potential Scroll Alchemy’ event will run until September 16, allowing players to collect materials through daily missions. A ‘World Leap’ event is also active until September 30, enabling players to transfer up to five characters level 230 or higher from the Challengers World to existing worlds. Additionally, the second phase of the ‘Dowongyeong Coin Shop’ will operate until September 20, offering various in-game items and cosmetics.
