Nexora to be acquired by One Equity Partners for $725 million

DCC Energy has agreed to sell its technology division, Nexora, to the US-based private equity firm One Equity Partners (OEP) in a transaction valued at $725 million. Nexora, which operates brands such as JAM, Almo, and CapTech, specializes in the distribution of professional audiovisual equipment, audio, infrastructure, and consumer electronics across North America and Europe.

The sale is expected to be completed on or after March 1, 2027, subject to regulatory approvals. For DCC Energy, the divestment is estimated to provide net proceeds of approximately $701 million. This sale could potentially add an estimated 42 pence per share to the takeover consideration for DCC shareholders following the company’s previously agreed-upon takeover by KKR and Energy Capital Partners.

Nexora will continue to be led by its existing management team. The partnership aims to accelerate Nexora’s growth and expand its market position in both North American and European territories.
