Nextgen Student League expands basketball pathway for students

The Nextgen Student League (NSL) is expanding its youth basketball development program for the 2026-2027 season. Now in its fourth year, the competition aims to create a structured pathway for student-athletes, moving from school-level competitions to the Nextgen Camp and eventually the NSL All Star program, which offers opportunities for international training experiences.

The upcoming season, titled ‘Livin Next-G Presents Cleo Nextgen Student League With BG Gold Season 2026-2027’, will be held across five major cities: Surabaya, Semarang, Banjarmasin, Tangerang, and Jakarta. The league expects to involve more than 500 schools, 750 teams, and over 8,000 participants.

Founder Sudiantowi Limanauw stated that the initiative is designed to be more than just a tournament, focusing on leadership, teamwork, mental toughness, and character building. The East Java Zone is scheduled to commence the series from October 3 to 25, 2026, at the Nextgen Arena in Surabaya.
