NEXUS Festival cancelled following EXIT withdrawal

The NEXUS Festival, scheduled to take place in Northern Cyprus on September 18, 2026, has been cancelled. La Nouba announced that the event cannot proceed as planned following the unilateral withdrawal of EXIT from the project.

La Nouba had initially considered organizing an alternative event for the same date. However, following a maritime disaster involving a passenger ship on August 30, the company decided against any alternative programming out of respect for the period of mourning in the community.

MUSMER TRADING LTD, representing La Nouba, characterized EXIT’s withdrawal as an unfair breach of contract. The company stated it reserves all legal rights, including seeking the return of paid fees and compensation for damages. The statement also suggested that political pressures from southern Cyprus may have influenced EXIT’s decision to withdraw.
