Nexxera cuts greenhouse gas emissions by 38% and earns sixth consecutive silver seal

Nexxera released its 2025 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory, showing a 38% drop in total emissions from 120.9 tCO₂e in 2024 to 75.4 tCO₂e in 2025. The reduction stemmed mainly from lower Scope 2 emissions due to increased use of renewable electricity and investments in more efficient infrastructure. For the sixth year in a row, the company received the Silver Seal of the Brazilian GHG Protocol, recognizing the completeness and transparency of its emissions reporting. Nexxera also retained its Member Seal in the same program, underscoring its ongoing commitment to ESG disclosure. “The ESG agenda has matured. Companies are now judged not only on commitments but on demonstrable results through auditable data,” said Edenir Silva, founder and vice‑president of Nexxera.
