Ney Arias Lora Hospital holds 15th Scientific Conference

The Ney Arias Lora Traumatological University Teaching Hospital celebrated its 16th anniversary and its 15th Scientific Conference in Santo Domingo. The event, themed ‘Legacy and Vision: The Impact of Medical Subspecialties on the Training of Specialists for the Trauma Network,’ brought together national and international professionals to discuss scientific advancements in traumatological care and specialist training.

During the ceremony, the hospital dedicated the conference to Dr. Julio César Landrón de la Rosa, the executive director of the National Health Service (SNS), recognizing his career in orthopedics, traumatology, teaching, and hospital management. Dr. Landrón expressed that the honor reflects the collective effort of his teams and reaffirmed the SNS's commitment to supporting the development of the Ney Arias Lora hospital and other public health facilities to improve medical training and patient care quality.
