Ney Matogrosso announces 2027 tour celebrating 85 years

Brazilian singer Ney Matogrosso has announced his 2027 tour, ‘85 Anos de Ousadia’, celebrating his 85th birthday and over 50 years of career. The tour is produced by 30e and presented by Itaú Live.

General ticket sales for the first five announced dates began on Monday. The initial schedule includes performances in São Paulo at Nubank Parque on January 30, 2027; Curitiba at Arena da Baixada on April 3; Recife at Classic Hall on April 17; Belo Horizonte at Esplanada do Mineirão on May 1; and Rio de Janeiro at the Maracanã Stadium on December 18. Five additional dates are expected to be announced soon, bringing the total to ten shows.

A unique feature of this tour is that Matogrosso will recreate one of his most iconic costumes for each performance. The visual identity of the tour was developed through a photo shoot by American photographer David LaChapelle. Matogrosso clarified that the tour is not a farewell, but a celebration of his ongoing passion for performing.
