Neyagawa Matsuri to be held at Sawayaka Road on August 23

The 49th Neyagawa Matsuri is scheduled to take place on August 23, 2026, from 16:00 to 21:00. Due to ongoing renovation work at the usual Uchiage River Flood Control Green Space, the festival will be held at Sawayaka Road, a main street in front of Neyagawa City Station.

Traffic restrictions will be in effect from approximately 13:00 to 22:00 between Neyagawa City Station and Hatachō intersection. Visitors are encouraged to use public transportation as there is no parking available near the venue. Bicycle parking will be available at the Neyagawa High School grounds from 15:30 to 21:00.

The event will feature various activities, including food stalls at Chuo Elementary School and Hatsuhonmachi Park, an ice market, and multiple stages offering dance shows, comedy, Bon Odori, and children's entertainment such as Anpanman performances. A highlight of the festival is the ‘Snow World’ event, which will run until 19:00. Tickets for Snow World are priced at 300 yen per person and are sold in 10-minute time slots with a capacity of 140 people per session. Note that there will be no fireworks during this year's celebration.
