Neymar identifies Paris Saint-Germain as his career prime

Brazilian forward Neymar has stated that his most significant period as an individual player occurred during his time at Paris Saint-Germain, rather than at Barcelona. Speaking with content creator Davoo Xeneize, Neymar noted that while his tenure at Barcelona alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez—the famed MSN trio—is widely remembered for its collective success, he felt his personal development peaked in France.

Neymar explained that during his time at PSG, he felt “stronger, faster and more intelligent,” possessing a better understanding of the pitch. While his years in Catalonia included winning the 2015 UEFA Champions League treble, his statistical output in Paris was notably high. He scored 118 goals in 173 matches for PSG, a higher goals-per-game rate than his 105 goals in 186 matches for Barcelona. At PSG, he secured four Ligue 1 titles and became the club’s fourth all-time top scorer.
