Neymar's neighborhood sees luxury real estate surge in Santos

Real estate prices in the Morro Santa Terezinha luxury residential area of Santos, Brazil, have surged due to the presence of football star Neymar. A luxury villa in the neighborhood is currently listed for 12.5 million reais, approximately 2.5 million USD.

The property features 2,200 square meters of land situated on a large rock with panoramic views of the Santos coastline. The mansion includes four bedrooms, a large swimming pool, a wood-burning fireplace, and a guest house for staff or visitors.

Neymar has reportedly acquired three villas in this area since returning to play in Santos, driving property values significantly higher than the neighborhood average of 7 million reais. Due to the high-profile nature of the residents, real estate broker Paula Malta noted that potential buyers must undergo a strict interview and vetting process to ensure absolute privacy and security.
