NFL and CMLL announce ‘Noche de Cascos y Máscaras’ event

The NFL and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) have announced a collaborative event titled ‘Noche de Cascos y Máscaras’. Scheduled for Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at 19:30, the event will take place at Arena México.

The special wrestling function is part of the festivities surrounding the Mexico City Game, marking the NFL’s return to Mexico during the 2026 season. The collaboration aims to merge the identities of both sports, combining NFL team colors and helmets with the traditional masks and high-flying maneuvers of Mexican lucha libre.

The event coincides with the week of the NFL regular-season game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Minnesota Vikings, which is set to be played on Sunday, November 22, 2026. Tickets for the wrestling event will be available via Ticketmaster and at the Arena México box office starting Friday, October 16.
