NFL Brazil: Players praise Maracanã atmosphere during Ravens vs. Cowboys game

The first NFL game held in Brazil at the Maracanã Stadium featured a matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the Dallas Cowboys. Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey praised the venue, describing the atmosphere as “incredible” and one of the most memorable experiences of his career. He noted that the energy from the crowd was overwhelming, comparing the intensity to iconic collegiate matchups.

Humphrey also commented on the playing surface, noting that while the grass showed signs of wear, specific repairs including the addition of synthetic fibers provided a satisfactory playing sensation.

Adding to the event's spectacle, Brazilian singer Pedro Sampaio performed during the halftime show. The performance follows a highly successful year for the artist, which included his ‘Brazilian Chaos Tour’ and appearances at Rock in Rio.
