NFL broadcast lineups shift as ESPN and Netflix name new hosts

ESPN announced that former NFL cornerback Jason McCourty will replace Ryan Clark as an analyst on the Monday Night Countdown pre‑game show. McCourty, a Super Bowl‑winning veteran, will debut on Sept. 14 ahead of the Denver Broncos‑Kansas City Chiefs matchup.

Netflix revealed that former ESPN reporter Elle Duncan will succeed Kay Adams as the lead NFL studio host for the season’s opening broadcast on Sept. 10, which will stream the 49ers‑Rams game from Melbourne, Australia. Duncan will be joined by analysts Michael Irvin, Nick Foles and Clay Matthews.

Both changes follow recent staffing moves at the two networks as they reshape their NFL coverage for the upcoming season.
