NFL enters Week 3 following early season upsets

The NFL enters Week 3 of the 2026 season following a period of unexpected results. Among the teams facing early pressure are the Los Angeles Chargers, who began the season 0-2 after losses to the Arizona Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders. Despite the poor start and a -4 turnover differential under offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel, agent Leigh Steinberg expressed confidence in head coach Jim Harbaugh, suggesting the team is capable of making adjustments to pursue a playoff berth.

Week 3 features 16 games, including a significant international matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro. Other teams currently winless include the Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins, and Houston Texans. The week of action begins on September 24 with the Atlanta Falcons facing the Green Bay Packers and concludes with Monday Night Football on September 28.
