NFL expands Brazilian presence with Rio activations and club collaborations
The NFL is expanding its presence in Brazil through various brand activations and commercial partnerships ahead of the NFL Rio Game 2026. The New England Patriots have opened a themed kiosk in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, which will operate throughout September. The space offers brand activations, football challenges, and themed events as part of the league’s Global Markets Program.
In conjunction with the league's arrival in Rio, New Era has launched a special collection that blends American football aesthetics with Rio de Janeiro landmarks, such as the Christ the Redeemer statue and the Copacabana boardwalk. This collection features unprecedented official collaborations between the NFL and major Brazilian football clubs Flamengo and Fluminense, incorporating their respective colors and identities into NFL-branded apparel.
