NFL injury updates: Jets, Eagles, and Browns face roster losses

Following Week 1 of the NFL season, several teams are facing significant roster challenges due to player injuries. The New York Jets will be without safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, who suffered a groin injury, and receiver Omar Cooper Jr., who is dealing with an ankle sprain. While neither is expected to be placed on injured reserve, both are anticipated to miss multiple games. In response to Cooper’s injury, the Jets added veteran Sterling Shepard to their practice squad.

The Philadelphia Eagles have placed Pro Bowl left guard Landon Dickerson on injured reserve, ensuring he will miss at least four games. Dickerson noted he had been struggling to play through physical issues. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns are also dealing with injuries, specifically losing running back Dylan Sampson for a minimum of four games.
