NFL Kickers see ranking shifts and fantasy opportunities after Week 6
Following Week 6 of the NFL season, kicker rankings have undergone significant updates. The league saw high overall success, with kickers converting 60-of-67 field goals and 50-of-54 PATs, resulting in a 11.71 Kick Value Added (KVA) metric.
As the season progresses into Week 7, fantasy football managers face challenges due to several popular kickers, including Cam Little, Cameron Dicker, and Tyler Bass, being on bye weeks. Daniel Carlson of the New Orleans Saints is highlighted as a strong start option due to a favorable matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Paris, France. The Steelers have recently allowed the highest volume of field goal attempts and fantasy points to opposing kickers.
Additionally, Matt Gay of the Las Vegas Raiders remains a consistent fantasy option. Gay has maintained high accuracy, making 14 of 15 attempts this season, and faces the Los Angeles Rams, an opponent that has recently allowed a high volume of field goal attempts.
