NFL Network Added to ESPN Unlimited Streaming Platform

On July 30, NFL Network was integrated into the ESPN app for ESPN Unlimited subscribers, giving U.S. viewers direct access to the channel without an extra fee. The deal follows ESPN's acquisition of NFL Network on April 1, which received federal regulatory approval in February after a rapid six‑month review. The new service includes live coverage of 19 preseason games and seven regular‑season games—five International Series matchups and a Week 16 doubleheader—plus more than 1,500 hours of studio programming such as Good Morning Football and The Insiders. The integration also coincides with ESPN's "Year of the Super Bowl," positioning the network to broadcast its first Super Bowl in 2027. The merger prompted layoffs at NFL Network, affecting on‑air talent like Ryan Clark, Tom Pelissero and Charles Davis.
