NFL players eye historic milestones in Week 3

Several NFL players are positioned to reach significant milestones during Week 3 of the 2026 season. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has the opportunity to become the first quarterback in league history to record multiple rushing touchdowns in three consecutive games. He also stands to join the 2013 Denver Broncos, 2007 New England Patriots, and 2000 St. Louis Rams as the fourth team to score at least 35 points and gain 400 total yards in each of their first three games.

Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes is approaching a career milestone; a victory against Miami would allow him to tie Tom Brady for the most wins by a quarterback with 115.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young has demonstrated a high level of efficiency early in the season. Analytics indicate he currently possesses the best deep ball in the NFL, outperforming other top quarterbacks in deep-throw efficiency and frequency.
