NFL preseason: Vikings favored against Ravens as Lions manage injuries

The Minnesota Vikings are favored by 3.5 points in their preseason matchup against the Baltimore Ravens at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Vikings, led by head coach Kevin O’Connell in his fifth season, hold a continuity advantage over Ravens head coach Jesse Minter, who is entering his second game in the role following the departure of John Harbaugh.

In other NFL preseason action, the Detroit Lions prepare to host the Washington Commanders. The Lions are currently managing depth issues on their offensive line after center Cade Mays was sidelined with a wrist injury expected to last eight to ten weeks. The team is currently rotating players including Juice Scruggs, Seth McLaughlin, and Michael Niese to address the vacancy at the center position.
