NFL RedZone reaches 300th episode milestone

NFL RedZone celebrated its 300th episode on October 17, marking a milestone that includes over 2,000 hours of coverage and a total of 17,800 touchdowns since its debut in 2009.

While the service has historically promised commercial-free football, the introduction of split-screen commercials in 2025 has altered the viewing experience. Despite these changes, the platform remains a significant reach for advertisers, having accessed an estimated 20.3 million U.S. households during the 2025 regular season according to Samba TV research.

Technological shifts, such as YouTubeTV’s multiview feature, allow viewers to monitor up to four channels simultaneously. This enables fans to mute commercials on one broadcast while focusing on live action from another, changing how audiences interact with advertisements without reducing total viewing time.
