NFL roster moves: Cardinals sign Zay Jones amid injuries
The Arizona Cardinals have signed veteran wide receiver Zay Jones to address depth issues in their receiving corps. Jones, who previously played for Arizona during the 2024-25 seasons, joins the team following the placement of Jalen Brooks on injured reserve due to wrist surgery. The move comes as the team manages a depleted unit that also lost Marvin Harrison Jr. via trade.
In other NFL transactions, the Cincinnati Bengals placed tight end Erick All on injured reserve, likely due to an ACL tear. To fill the vacancy, the Bengals signed Cam Grandy from the Vikings’ practice squad. Additionally, the Cleveland Browns announced that defensive tackle Kalia Davis will revert to season-ending injured reserve following a quadriceps injury.
Other notable moves include the Chicago Bears signing running back Zavier Scott from a practice squad, the Dallas Cowboys waiving running back Emari Demercado, and the Philadelphia Eagles waiving running back Carson Steele via an injury settlement.
