NFL star George Kittle to debut in dinosaur Western series

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle will make his first acting appearance in the eight‑part series “Dinosaurs of the Wild West.” The dinosaur‑themed Western, created by Australian writer‑director Luke Sparke and produced by Sparke Films, blends frontier storytelling with prehistoric creatures, describing a world where raptors are ridden into battle and brontosaurs haul towns.

Kittle will portray an original character alongside cast members such as Jesse Kove, Martin Kove and Rachael Pizzolatto. The series is being funded through a Kickstarter campaign that has already surpassed 60 % of its goal, with the trailer generating millions of views. Ahead of filming, Kittle will report to the 49ers’ 2026 training camp, as the team opens its season with a road game against the Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne, Australia.
