NFL stars prepare for return following major 2025 season injuries
Several high-profile NFL stars are preparing for the upcoming season following significant injuries during the 2025 campaign. Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who suffered a torn ACL in Week 15, has been cleared for training camp and aims to be available for the regular season opener against Denver.
Green Bay Packers defensive end Micah Parsons is also recovering from a torn ACL sustained in December. While most injured stars are targeting a Week 1 return, Parsons anticipates a return in October. Other notable players working toward recovery include San Francisco 49ers stars Fred Warner, Nick Bosa, and George Kittle, as well as Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones, who is recovering from an Achilles injury.
New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers is trending toward a Week 1 return for the matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. After missing much of the previous season due to a knee injury, Nabers has participated in recent training camp practices and is showing progress in his recovery.
