NFL subscribers demand refunds following repeated RedZone streaming outages

NFL+ subscribers are demanding refunds following recurring technical issues with the NFL RedZone streaming service. During the Week 3 kickoff window on Sunday, September 27, users reported widespread outages, login errors, and loading loops, particularly affecting the 1:00 PM ET early game slate which featured nine simultaneous games.

This marks the third consecutive week of reported disruptions. Earlier in the season, Week 1 saw over 14,000 complaints on Downdetector, and similar issues persisted during Week 2. Subscribers paying for NFL+ Premium, which costs $14.99 monthly or $99.99 yearly, have expressed significant frustration on social media, with many calling the service “ridiculously garbage” and demanding full refunds.

Rather than providing automatic credits for the service interruptions, support staff have directed frustrated fans to submit individual support tickets, further fueling the backlash against the league’s streaming infrastructure.
