NFL teams Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals announce key offseason acquisitions

The Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals have made several key roster moves during the 2026 NFL offseason involving free agency and trades.

The Cleveland Browns added five players, including guard Zion Johnson, center Elgton Jenkins, and linebacker Quincy Williams through free agency. The team also acquired offensive tackle Tytus Howard via trade from the Houston Texans and defensive end Jared Verse via trade from the Los Angeles Rams.

To address defensive needs, the Cincinnati Bengals signed defensive end Boye Mafe, safety Bryan Cook, Jonathan Allen, and defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence. Mafe signed a three-year, $60 million contract, while Cook secured a three-year deal worth $40.25 million.
