NFL to host first regular season game in Paris in 2026

The NFL will host its first-ever regular season game in France on October 25, 2026, at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis. The matchup features the New Orleans Saints as the home team against the Pittsburgh Steelers during Week 7 of the season.

Despite recent widespread student-led protests across France regarding education reforms, the NFL confirmed it is proceeding with the event as scheduled. In a statement, the league noted that it is working closely with local authorities and partners on all security and operational matters to ensure fan and team safety.

For the New Orleans Saints, this marks their fourth international appearance, following previous games in London. Steelers President Art Rooney II described the event as an honor, while Saints owner Gayle Benson highlighted the historical and cultural ties between Louisiana and France.
