NFL to play historic regular-season game in Melbourne

The National Football League (NFL) is making its historic debut in Australia with a regular-season game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The matchup, scheduled for September 10, marks a significant step in the league's international expansion efforts.

Netflix will broadcast the game live, treating the event as part of its growing live sports programming. The broadcast will feature commentary from Noah Eagle and former NFL linebacker Luke Kuechly, alongside a halftime show headlined by the Jonas Brothers.

In conjunction with the event, Carlton Dry has launched the ‘It’s Still Footy’ campaign featuring Strauchanie, a former AFL player attempting an unlikely transition to the NFL. The campaign celebrates the shared passion between Australian Rules Football and American football fans.
